Media RSS / PicLens support

Media RSS / PicLens support added - 29 Jul 2008

All portfolios on my website now have a Media RSS feed available
Media RSS is similar to regular RSS but is used for multimedia files such as images. Media RSS will allow you to browse my Gallery with popular image browsing software, such as PicLens

RSS stands for "Really simple Syndication" and is a great way to keep up to date with changes on this website and recent news stories.

You can subscribe to my RSS feed by the links at the bottom right of these pages and also all modern browsers highlight there is an RSS feed as well.

How can I use them?
To take advantage of RSS feeds you need a news reader. There are web-based ones (generally free), that allow you to keep up to date on your favourite websites from any computer, or there are software news readers which you need to install. Also, some web browsers such as FireFox and Safari allow you to subscribe to feeds directly.
Web-based News Readers

iGoogle
My Yahoo!

Software News Readers
Newz Crawler
FeedDemon

Once you have chosen a News Reader you just need to copy and paste into it, the URL for the feed you want to subscribe to:

Gallery RSS URL : http://mikew.photium.com/latest.xml
